Thiago Gomes a.k.a Goms

The birth of art through a surrealist routine.

Originally from São Paulo and graduated around Grajaú Street’s paintings, Thiago used his fascination with the pictures on the walls as an inspiration for creating his own forms.

Influenced by comics and cartoons, his characters (mixed by real and ludic traits) became a trademark: animals from the imaginary universe which carries, themselves and around them, attitudes, behaviors and human being features.

From the union among his influences was born an iconic job – pictures and graffitis – featured by the use of his characters from an anthropomorphic nature, seen in several places around São Paulo City.
